Welcome to the world of Mr. Miami, a culinary and entertainment maven transforming the UK scene from my base in Wolverhampton. My journey began in 2015 when I laid the groundwork for the GBL Project CIC, aiming to revitalize local entertainment and community development.
In 2016, I launched Miami Nights, an event series that quickly became a staple in Wolverhampton's nightlife, renowned for bringing top talent and setting new standards for urban events. This initiative marked my entry into event planning and demonstrated my ability to orchestrate successful gatherings from the modest surroundings of my one-bedroom flat.
Later that year, my culinary venture, Miami's House of Wings, took flight. I provided backstage catering and studio sessions with delicious American-style cuisine. My wings have graced the palettes of UK music sensations, fueling creative sessions and enhancing the backstage atmosphere at major concerts. Notable moments include catering for Jorja Smith during her concerts and bringing a taste of America to the studio for Naughty Boy. My creations have been enjoyed by artists like Jaykae and the Lotto Boys during Nines' concert, where talents like S.L. and DJ Shockwell also relished the flavors.
In 2017, I expanded into talent management with The Cleopatra Way, nurturing her from a personal connection to a recognized name in the music industry. I guided her through her initial steps, from writing raps to her first studio sessions and public performances, shaping her into a global talent.
My efforts culminated in a groundbreaking event in January 2019, when I brought Russ to Wolverhampton to perform his top 10 hit ‘Gun Lean’ at a sold-out Miami Nights event at Club Outback. This night not only celebrated his chart success but also featured major alcohol brand sponsorship with Bel Air Rosé, a first for an urban event in the city.
Throughout my career, I've also catered to a variety of artists at concerts and events, including backstage catering for Nines where talents like the Lotto Boys and DJ Shockwell enjoyed my creations. My efforts have not only satisfied taste buds but also fostered a deeper connection between food and music in the entertainment scene.
